An analog probe thermometer reading 0 to 100 degrees Celsius, with a sprung clip that holds it to the wall of a milk pitcher at a fixed depth. Steaming milk by sound and feel works until it does not; a dial that you can watch without holding anything is what makes the result repeatable.
Features
- Sprung clip holds the probe to the pitcher wall at a fixed depth
- Analog dial, so there is no battery and nothing to switch on
- Reads 0 to 100 degrees Celsius across the full face
- Stainless steel probe and stem
- Clip adjusts to the wall thickness of most pitchers
- Also reads brew water, a pot or a carafe
