This is a two-piece espresso knock box used to catch and hold spent coffee pucks after knocking out a portafilter. The removable inner tray lifts out separately from the base, so it can be rinsed clean under a tap without carrying the whole unit to the sink. An oval groove on one side rests the portafilter upright while prepping the next shot. The tray fits portafilter handles in the 51, 53, and 58mm range; larger or non-standard handles may not seat securely.
