A cone filter in unglazed grey stoneware, perforated across its whole surface rather than at the base alone. Liquid passes through the wall as well as the bottom, so it drains evenly and does not build a column of water above the leaf the way a single-hole strainer does.
Features
- Perforations across the entire cone, not only in the base
- Unglazed grey stoneware body with a matte, slightly granular surface
- Sits in the mouth of a pitcher or a cup on a moulded rim
- Drains evenly, so the leaf is not left standing in water
- No mesh to distort and no moving parts
- Works for coffee grounds as readily as for loose leaf
